Women’s Committee

Our Women’s Committee members are critical to the museum’s financial health. Chief among their responsibilities is managing our hugely popular and lucrative annual fundraisers, Fine Art & Flowers and the Festival of Trees & Traditions. Looking for a way to apply your organizational skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship and help us to further our fundraising goals? The Women’s Committee is for you! Dozens of volunteers are needed and all are invited to apply.

Purpose: Fundraising, community outreach, public awareness.

Responsibilities: Manage two annual fund raisers; coordinate Day Art Tours to museums, historical sites and gardens; and create fresh floral arrangements.

Qualifications: Museum membership and creative energy.

Perks: Special behind-the-scenes talks and tours, plus the fun of organizing some of Hartford’s most exciting events.
