Join us for the sixth annual Splendor Gala at the Connecticut Convention Center!  This event is our largest fundraiser and a significant source of unrestricted operating dollars, which support our public programming and critically acclaimed exhibitions.

More than 500 people attended last year’s gala, helping to net $300,000.  This year, we are anticipating that the gala will again be a sold-out event representing our top supporters and members of the corporate community.

Our previous five fundraising galas have netted over $1.2 million, and the proceeds have funded public programs such as free transportation and museum admission for Hartford Public School students, and the creation of our monthly Second Saturday program which provides free admission and hands on activities for families.

This year, a portion of funds raised will help the museum as it continues its comprehensive renovation across all five of its buildings and the complete reinstallation of its permanent collection. The renovation will also bring significant improvements for visitors, including new interior and exterior signage, bi-lingual signage, and space for commissioned art on the exterior of the museum. The entire project is crucial to ensuring future access to our renowned collection.
