Visit Monet’s Garden at the New York Botanical Garden and experience Giverny, France in the Bronx! Monet’s Garden is a seasonally changing interpretation of the garden that inspired Claude Monet’s art. This exhibition explores the legacy of his idyllic garden in Giverny, France, transforming the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into a floral masterpiece of diverse plants, bold colors, and dramatic design. Two rarely seen paintings by the artist – one which has never been shown in the United States – will also be on view, as well as Monet’s palette and rare photographs of him and his gardens. After a docent-led tour of Monet’s Garden a tram will take us through the rest of the Garden’s 250 acres. Hop on and off and explore at any of the four stops. Lunch will be on your own. Choose from two restaurants in the Garden.
