Set in the far reaches of the Peruvian Amazon, a group of 15 international volunteers joined forces with local indigenous youth to make a film about the most pressing social and environmental conflicts in the region. Living and working together every day for three months, the team produced a stunningly beautiful, fact-based fictional feature – told with touches of comedy – about the threats of foreign development in the Amazon, the dangers of oil drilling interests, and the power of art and culture to lead a community.
