Schutz, Jr., Assistant Curator of American Paintings and Sculpture, discusses Rembrandt Peale’s rare portrait of Raja Ram Mohun Roy—an important 19th-century Indian intellectual—on loan from the Peabody Essex Museum until March 2015.

Pat Thompson: Join us for a brunch buffet while listening to some of Hartford’s best live jazz music during our Sunday Jazz Brunch with The Steppin Out Trio featuring vocalist Pat Thompson! Seating’s at 11am and 12:30pm. Afterwards, explore the galleries on your own or take a tour with a docent.

The brunch buffet features a carving station, the chef’s “special of the day,” bacon, sausage, home fries, fresh fruit, a waffle station with whipped cream and assorted toppings, pastries and breads, assorted juices, tea and coffee. Vegetarian options available by request.
