Sunday Serenades: Mozart & MATRIX: Join us in the galleries for a chamber music concert inspired by the complex international saga of exploration, colonization, and world domination, depicted in Frohawk Two Feathers / MATRIX 170. The program features Henry Purcell’s Golden Sonata, François Couperin’s Les Nations: L’Impériale, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Quintet, K. 452. Presented with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, featuring Concertmaster Leonid Sigal.

Lecture: A Moveable Feast: The Impact of Technology & Travel on Modern Dining Design: Sarah Coffin, Curator and Head, Product Design and Decorative Arts Department, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution. Cocktail reception at 6pm followed by lecture.
