Jazz Brunch: Sting to Holiday Swing

Jazz Brunch: Sting to Holiday Swing: Join us for a brunch buffet while listening to some of Hartford’s best live jazz music during our Sunday Jazz Brunch with Sting to Holiday Swing! Seating’s at 11am and 12:30pm. Afterwards, explore the galleries on your own or take a tour with a docent.

The brunch buffet features a carving station, the chef’s “special of the day,” bacon, sausage, home fries, fresh fruit, a waffle station with whipped cream and assorted toppings, pastries and breads, assorted juices, tea and coffee. Vegetarian options available by request.

Purchase tickets online or call 860-838-4100, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4:30pm. Tickets include museum admission, jazz, brunch & complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa.

Second Saturdays: Quest Stories: Escape into the Greek myth of Jason and his quest for the Golden Fleece as shown on the Jason Tapestries. Hartford professional storyteller Tom Lee brings the story to life! Free admission during program.

Second Saturdays for Families: Explore art with your family, encourage creativity, and expand your imagination through conversation and discovery. Each program is free and includes hands-on art projects, tours for families, live music, and engaging fun through film, theater and dance. Join us the second Saturday of every month year-round!

Fine Art & Flowers 2015

Fine Art & Flowers: Join us for our annual salute to spring at the 34th Fine Art & Flowers! View unique floral arrangements and garden designs inspired by works of art in the collection, created by community florists, garden clubs, and designers. Throughout the weekend enjoy special events, tours, a marketplace with local vendors, and more.

$3 is added to all admissions during Fine Art & Flowers.

The 34th Annual Fine Art & Flowers is presented by the Women’s Committee of the Wadsworth Atheneum. All proceeds from this event fund the museum’s special exhibitions, as well as its educational and community programs.
