Second Saturdays: Land & Sky: Inspired by Ruben Ochoa / MATRIX 169: Cloudless Day, make your own earth and skyscapes while listening to Latin and classical guitar by Lorena Garay. View photographs by students participating in the Greater Hartford Arts Council‘s Neighborhood Studios program hosted by The Amistad Center for Art & Culture.

Talk to a docent about Ruben Ochoa’s art. MATRIX Gallery

11:30am – 12pm: Eyes on Art Family Tour
Explore land and sky in art during this docent-led tour for all ages. Meet at Information Desk 

12 – 1pm: SNAP! Photography Exhibition
Stop in and talk to student participants about their photography and the Neighborhood Studios Program. Hartford Courant Room

About Second Saturdays for Families
Explore art with your family, encourage creativity, and expand your imagination through conversation and discovery. Each program is free and includes hands-on art projects, tours for families, live music, and engaging fun through film, theater and dance. Join us the second Saturday of every month year-round!
