William Hooker: A native of New Britain, CT, William Hooker is one of the most innovative composers and drummers of his generation. His disciplined, visionary, and energetic approach to his work distinguishes him as an important contemporary musician.

Ed Kasparek: Ed Kasparek is a multi-instrumentalist and experimental composer with an interest in exploring the inner self and mystical aspects of creativity through music, sound, and integrated digital media. His work is diverse and includes the utilization of unconventional systemic graphic notation, interactive video scores, the use of performance art and installation within musical contexts, and most recently 3D animation, “with music and as music, which establishes a new dimension in creative experience and the realization of a new hybrid art music for the 21st century.”

Richard McGhee III: With over 30 years experience, Richard McGhee III has worked with many world class musicians including Anthony Braxton, Jay Hoggard, and Sabir Mateen. He has performed in the Pork Pie Hat concert series, the Hartford Jazz Society’s Monday Night Jazz series, and the Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz. In 2010 the U.S. Department of State sponsored Richard to travel as a musical ambassador to Capetown, South Africa.
