Use of Artwork and Museum Images

Use of artwork from the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art’s collection for any purpose other than editorial press coverage requires advanced permission and a possible fee. Contact the rights and reproduction coordinator at rights.repro@wadsworthatheneum.org for information on obtaining images; please include the details of your project and your publication deadline.

Use of images for editorial coverage of the museum is permitted gratis with advanced permission. Editors and journalists should contact Amanda Young, Communications and Marketing Manager, at (860) 838-4082 or amanda.young@wadsworthatheneum.org to discuss intended use and to request files and captions.

Any use of the museum’s logo must be approved in advance of its use. Please contact Amanda Young, Communications and Marketing Manager, at (860) 838-4082 or amanda.young@wadsworthatheneum.org for permission and to obtain a proper logo file for your use.
