Artist Talk: Your Turn

In their monumental work Your Turn, artists Alex Schweder and Ward Shelley reimagine comforts and basic necessities as a laborious negotiation. Artist and Yale University design critic Pamela Hovland and Exhibitions Director at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum Richard Klein join Schweder and Shelley for an exploration of the dramatic environments they have constructed to challenge the limits of cooperation in design and living. Your Turn was commissioned by The Aldrich where it was on view October 1, 2017–April 22, 2018. In conjunction with the exhibition Made in Connecticut.
