The concert includes works for strings by the giants of Polish music of the 20th century. Virtuosi’s Artistic Director, Adrian Sylveen will lead the orchestra in a performance of String Symphony (Quartet) No. 2 by Karol Szymanowski and Serenade for Strings by Mieczyslaw Karlowicz. The program includes arrangements of Szymanowski’s Mazurkas by contemporary Polish composer Jakub Kowalewski.
