Participate in a docent led tour of Rembrandt to Picasso: Five Centuries of European Works on Paper at the Brooklyn Museum. From Rembrandt’s etchings to Picasso’s bold lines, this exhibition highlights the presence of the artist’s hand from beginning studies on paper to finished compositions. A range of genres including portraiture, landscape, satire, and abstractions are presented not only by Rembrandt and Picasso but also by artists including Durer, Goya, Morisot, Degas, Manet, and Van Gogh.

In the afternoon explore Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion, the first New York retrospective in forty years to focus on the legendary couturier. One hundred and seventy objects from Cardin’s studio and archive including luxury fabrics, broad shoulder jackets from the 1980s, illuminated jumpsuits, recently designed menswear, and even football uniforms are on display in a setting inspired by Cardin’s unique designs.

Lunch on your own in the museum Café or THE NORM.
