Join us for a talk by New York Magazine art critic Jerry Saltz, the first art critic ever to win a National Magazine Award for his column, and this year’s Emily Hall Tremaine Lecturer in Contemporary Art. Arrive early for a reception and view the newly renovated and reinstalled Post-War and Contemporary Art galleries, from 5 to 6 pm.

Jerry Saltz is a three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee and has served as a visiting critic at The School of Visual Arts, Columbia University, Yale University, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and was the sole advisor for the 1995 Whitney Biennial. Saltz is an electrifying speaker known for his passionate opinions and insight about contemporary art.
