Sweet Bean
(An)
The introverted manager/baker at a pancake stall meets an eccentric but sympathetic 76 year-old woman looking for work. A taste of her homemade bean jelly convinces him to hire her, which leads to a friendship with both the woman and a lonely schoolgirl. The three “outsiders” form a bond that is about much more than just food.
