In conjunction with Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, Chief Curator and Exhibition Curator Robin Jaffee Frank focuses on how artists’ visions of Coney Island became a vehicle for exploring the mixing of people from different racial, ethnic, and class backgrounds, transcending social boundaries.
From 5 to 6 pm the Coney Island exhibition galleries will be open for public viewing. A reception and book signing with Frank will also take place in Loctite Lobby – exhibition catalogues will be on sale. The talk begins at 6 pm in the theater.
