Netherlandish Artists in Rome: Michael Sweerts and His Contemporaries

Dr. Lara Yeager-Crasselt, Interim Curator of Paintings and Sculpture at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, will explore the artistic culture of Dutch and Flemish artists in 17th-century Rome, with special attention to the work of Flemish artist Michael Sweerts.
