Sculptor Chaim Gross played a key role in shaping post-war American art. Join artist Mimi Gross for a discussion of her father’s work with curator Patricia Hickson. In conjunction with the installation of the sculpture I Love My Baby (1948), a recent addition to the Wadsworth collection.

Watch a documentary by Jacob Burckhardt about Mimi Gross’s “The Arrival 1620”, an installation about the native people in what is now known as Provincetown, Mass, when the Pilgrims first arrived, before they went to Plymouth. The exhibition encourages young people to visit and learn the history of the Wampanoag nation and the Pilgrims in America.
