Presented in partnership with The Amistad Center for Art & Culture. Sponsored by The Hartford.

Art Making (10am–4pm)

Music Makers (Avery Court): Make some noise and decorate a musical instrument. Then bring your instrument to our Call and Response Celebration.

Missing Sculpture (Morgan Great Hall): The Stegosaurus has walked off Burr Mall! Use Model Magic to create a new outdoor sculpture to take its place. Then add it to our community display.

Portraits! (Hartford Courant Room): Explore portrait painting with a docent. Then use different colors, shapes and textures to create your own expressive self-portrait to take home.

Façade Remix (Wadsworth 2): Did you know the Wadsworth Atheneum is made up of 5 different buildings? Use a collection of materials to redesign the museum’s outdoor appearance.
