In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment which secured women’s constitutional right to vote, Connecticut State Troubadour Nekita Waller shares an acoustic music performance among the sculpture on the Main Street lawn of the museum. To mark the centennial the façade of the Wadsworth will be illuminated in the official suffrage colors of purple and gold, as part of the nationwide Forward into Light campaign. Lighting design by Robyn Joyce.
Visitors are required to wear a face mask and observe safe social distance of 6 feet from others while on the grounds of the Wadsworth. No restroom facilities will be available in August and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead for their comfort.
