What can you do with your hands? Learn how craftsmen and painters used their hands to design the American home and create a handcrafted work of your own. See how puppeteers used their hands to tell stories from the African American puppetry tradition. Watch a puppet show and join a puppet workshop in The Amistad Center for Art & Culture. Program presented in collaboration with the University of Connecticut’s Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry. Museum admission is free during Second Saturdays activities.
