Second Saturdays: Objects of Wonder

November 14, 2015 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Find your way to our new Cabinet of Art and Curiosities and see how ostrich eggs, nautilus shells and minerals are transformed into wondrous works of art. Enjoy art activities led by the Connecticut Natural Science Illustrators and explore insects, fossils and skins from Yale’s Peabody Museum of Natural History’s Peabody on the Road program. Listen to live music in the galleries by the Hartt School’s Performance 20/20 and Chamber Music program and create your own object of wonder!

Second Saturdays for Families: Explore art with your family, encourage creativity, and expand your imagination through conversation and discovery. Each program is free and includes hands-on art projects, tours for families, live music, and engaging fun through film, theater and dance. Join us the second Saturday of every month year-round!
