Second Saturdays: Living Art: Have you ever imagined the people in a work of art coming to life? Create a character inspired by a work you see in the museum and stay for the Connecticut premiere of the animated film The Painting, a quest story that brings to life the characters who “live” in a painting hanging in an artist’s studio. Listen to children and young adult stories read by authors from the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association (CAPA) throughout the morning.
1 pm: Screening of The Painting. Directed by Jean-Francois Laguionie. 76 minutes. Unrated.
