Fine Prints and Drawings by Rembrandt and His Contemporaries
March 10–July 15, 2018
The Wadsworth Atheneum presents—for the first time in nearly 40 years—highlights of works on paper from the Dutch Golden Age. The installation of 25 objects includes a selection of drawings, prints, and etchings, primarily by Rembrandt and his pupils. One painting, the recently conserved Daniel Proving the Innocence of Susanna (c. 1660-70) by Gerbrand van den Eeckhout (detail above), is also on view.
