Teacher Programs

The Wadsworth Atheneum offers a range of public and appointment-based professional development opportunities for PreK–12 educators. Featuring instruction in the galleries and hands-on activities, our programs introduce teachers to the museum’s collection and special exhibitions and provide strategies for integrating the arts into the classroom across subject areas. Additionally, the museum offers appointment-based workshops and occasional Evenings for Educators appreciation events. To receive updates and invitations to our teacher programs, please email teachers@thewadsworth.org.
