Requests for Donations

The Wadsworth Atheneum is honored to support other regional non-profit organizations in fundraising efforts. If you are seeking items for a charity auction or cause, and you meet the criteria below, please complete our online application. Please note that, as a non-profit itself, the Wadsworth Atheneum can only make in-kind donations; requests for financial support cannot be considered.

• Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, or a school
• Applicant should be located within 90 miles of the Wadsworth Atheneum
• Requests for donations must be submitted at least one month prior to the related event or deadline
• No more than one donation is made to any group or its affiliate per calendar year
• Donations are limited and considered on a first-come, first-served basis
• The Wadsworth Atheneum is unable to donate to for-profit organizations, political action groups, political campaigns, or individuals raising money for another group
