Sam Pollard chronicles the inspiring journey of the Negro Leagues, America’s prominent Black-owned baseball enterprise. Through archival footage and interviews with legends like Hank Aaron, Pollard showcases players’ resilience amid systemic racism. From Moses “Fleetwood” Walker to Rube Foster, the film meticulously traces the rise and fall of the leagues, offering a comprehensive portrait of Black American baseball history. Free with museum admission.
